Music's Bottom Line Magazine
MBL was a local music magazine that ran for five years and had a monthly distribution of 10,000 copies at its peak. I took over as layout editor in early 2003 when the owner recognized he did not have the skills, time, or training to focus on the visual aspects of the magazine.
The covers to the left represent some of my favorite work; both are composited from multiple images and have unique color treatments to convey the mood of the music they represent.
